Ka-band innovation built to specific users’ requirements
A highly adaptable wideband solution, built with specific government requirements in mind that seamlessly integrates with existing antenna control systems and provides mobile users and antenna integrators access to the globally available Global Xpress network.
G-MODMAN is an enabling technology that supports the implementation of Global Xpress terminals on government aviation platforms. Built with specific government requirements across multiple aviation platforms in mind, this enabling device seamlessly integrates with existing antenna control systems through the use of open standards and provides government aircraft and antenna integrators access to the globally-available Global Xpress network. It combines interfaces for user traffic, management data, aircraft data and antenna control information into a Modified Airworthiness Certification Criteria (MACC) safe-to-fly single form factor allowing for easy integration and installation. To deliver precise pointing accuracy, G-MODMAN has a built-in receive signal strength indicator (RSSI) for feedback to the antenna control system.
Inmarsat future innovation is delivered often without capital expense for our customers. Once we implement and test these new technologically-enabled improvements, users simply “connect” and benefit from the enhanced operational features.
