Matt Wissler is Chief Technology Officer of Inmarsat Government Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inmarsat Group Holdings Limited, and the world’s leading provider of global mobile satellite communications to the United States Government.
Mr. Wissler is responsible for the development and maintenance of key product and services technology roadmaps; performing innovation, development, and commercialization activities to enhance this roadmap; leading solutions engineering; developing analytical tools; and providing developmental demonstrations. He is also responsible for Inmarsat Government’s role in future Inmarsat satellite systems including special payloads, secure payload operations, and U.S. government-related requirements. In this role, he continues to provide focused technical support to the Special Operations, Intelligence, and aero/UAV customer communities.
Prior to this role, Mr. Wissler served as Vice President of Spacecraft Programs of Inmarsat Government. He has over 16 years of career experience and served in multiple leadership, program management and technical roles at Northrop Grumman prior to joining Inmarsat Government.
Mr. Wissler holds a MS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Penn State University and BS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering also from Penn State University.
