The only commercial Ka-band network from a single operator that provides worldwide service. To assure consistent, uninterrupted connectivity, aero users benefit from a seamless spot beam architecture for maximum mobility. When there are demand surges, Global Xpress directs its steerable spot beams for additional capacity, establishing continuous, highly reliable, always-on connectivity. Global Xpress can be acquired flexibly and affordably, as an end-to-end managed service – SATCOM as a Service – with guaranteed service level agreements (SLAs) and committed information rates (CIRs) anywhere in the world for enroute, patrol and rapid deployment. Alternatively, it is available in the form of a Mil-Ka lease with terminals that are fully compatible with the WGS system for high-value platforms and surge events. Using a combination of these services affords the greatest operational flexibility and resilience to meet mission-critical requirements.
A flexible and easy to use innovation built with specific government aero users’ requirements in mind, and seamlessly integrates with existing antenna control systems and the Global Xpress network and supports implementation of Global Xpress-enabled aero terminals.
Users receive global voice communications and high-speed data up to 432 kbps per channel, simultaneously through a single antenna. When Global Xpress is complemented by SwiftBroadband services, users benefit from even greater resilience and frequency diversity.

In response to specific government requirements for cost-effective high-throughput global connectivity for small-aperture aero platforms, L-band Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (LAISR) provides guaranteed L-band data rates up to 10Mbps and enables transmission of high definition full-motion video and data from a variety of manned and unmanned small-aperture aero platforms, resulting in full situational awareness for the military and intelligence community.
